Prior to coming to B&A in 1999, Kevin spent 15 years at Anco Fine Cheese where he gained experience in all aspects of the perishable food industry. During his career at Anco, he headed up at various intervals, Purchasing, Marketing, The Florida Division, and finally he was named V.P. of Sales managing 10 Regional Managers and over 90 Brokers nationwide. Mark comes to B&A with 25 years of food industry experience, and a ten year tenure at Wakefern Foods Corp. Mark held several key positions which included buying responsibility in the grocery, non-foods and dairy and deli departments. Ultimately heading up their category management initiative. He also has enjoyed a successful sales career as national accounts manager for John Morrell Company, and most recently as national sales manager for Covent Garden Soup Company. His experience provides a well-balanced empathy for both customer and principal.

Charlie Cruger brings over 25 years of retail and distributor food knowledge to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Marc has been with B&A for years from a non-traditional selling background. His career began 30 years ago, when he owned and managed a family run business servicing both retail and wholesale customers. Working directly with customers on a daily basis gave him the tools needed to succeed in his current role.

Foodservice Territory Sales Manager

With nearly a decade in Food Service Sales and back of the house responsibilities, Greg brings hands on experience and a terrific energy to B&A. His main focus is opening new accounts for our principals and building additional business for existing customers. Greg is a graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in business administration.


Director of Store Support

Ron started in the supermarket industry in 2000 with Kings as a deli clerk and was quickly promoted to deli manager. He continued his advancement and became a perishable manager where he gained much experience in the merchandising end of the business. Moving on to Fairway Markets as their perishable manager, he gained extensive knowledge in gourmet cheese and other high end specialty food products. Alan recently joined B&A after a twenty plus year career as a deli manager at A&P and Acme. His knowledge of in store merchandising and operations allows him to anticipate store and consumer needs his resets. His focus is on independent retailers and co-operatives where he is up to the challenge of managing varied product assortments and layouts.


Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager

Formerly the owner of upscale HMR manufacturer John’s Gourmet, John now manages B&A’s Mid-Atlantic territory. He also lends his invaluable expertise to our NJ and NY account execs in their deli-foodservice sales efforts.His manufacturing experience enables him to interface with our customers and principals to create customized products for our demanding marketplace.


Store Support Services

Cathy is an extremely energetic person whose responsibilities include coordinating reports and plan-o-grams with our in store tech team, coordinating point of sale delivery to stores, creating power point sales presentations, as well as encompassing new item special display instructions and promotional events for store department managers and buyers


Brand Specialist

Joe is our newest brand specialist to join B&A for retail in Metro-NY. His background comes with over 6 years of working in the food service industry. He brings depth in knowledge of fine wines giving him insight when it comes to pairings and event planning. This unique experience gives him true passion for what he manages, as he understands a broader view of the applications of retail merchandising. Crystal joined the team at B&A with over ten years’ experience in customer service and team leadership. She brings a strong attention to detail and an energetic ability for assisting customers and principals alike.
