John has over 30 years of vast sales experience in the food service industry. He has spent the last (9) years as a GM/COO for a nationally recognized and awarded MBE supplier of high-quality foodservice and retail protein products. John positioned this company to compete in the highly competitive protein category by implementing both a “pull-through” and “push-through” strategy. They also went on to be recognized as SYSCO’s “Diversity Supplier of the Year” on (3) occasions and was Marriott’s “Diversity Supplier of the Year” in 2016. Prior to this, John led the SYSCO business units at Smithfield & Tyson and was President of Mrs. Smith’s foodservice group. John has a passion for “winning” and is looking forward to building and leading the B&A sales teams in these markets. John received his BS & MA degrees from The University of Alabama and learned how to win as a walk-on for Coach Bear Bryant’s last team.
