Anthony is excited to join the B&A team as he brings an extensive knowledge in Culinary Arts and Grocery Retail. Anthony developed a love for food at an early age and began his foodservice career while he was attending high school. He then got accepted to Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC with a concentration major in Culinary Arts. Through school he had the privilege to work for the Harpers Restaurant group working for the former Zink American Kitchen as well as Mimosa Grill for a short stint. After living in Charlotte for 6 years he traveled home to Northern Virginia to work for Wegmans Food Markets. In his 10 year tenure there he worked as a Sous Chef overseeing all Prepared Foods operations from Production, Food and Human Safety, and Employee Retention. Prior to leaving Wegmans, Anthony worked on the Grocery Retail side for a year and a half overseeing all operations and developing relationships with vendors and purveyors. Anthony looks forward to bringing his passion for customer service and operator relationships to B&A and growing our Virginia, Maryland and DC markets exponentially.
